Everyone has a purpose from the beginning to the end of their studies and that is to build a good successful career. After finishing their studies, doing honorable work, doing government job, higher education or research and becoming an entrepreneur or doing business is a headache for everyone.
If we want to live with our heads held high in the society, we have to build a good successful career. We become so worried about it that we become ignorant.
We hope for success as soon as we start any work which creates frustration among us and takes us far away from our desired career. Swami Vivekananda said – “Do not expect success in a day or a year. Always hold on to the best ideals.” So in spite of all the adversities, one has to be active to hold on to one’s potential.
1) Always think big
To build a successful career always think big. People are ambitious and dreamy. Our dreams are as fragile as they are big. A little touch of negativity breaks the dream.
Inspired by the sight of a spider, Robert Bruce succeeds in his eighth attempt to conquer his kingdom. His thoughts were as strong as they were big. Stephen Richard’s inspirational quote is “No matter how small you start, always dream big.”
2) Find the job of your choice
Oprah Winfrey says of success at work – “You know you are on the road to success if you would do your job and not be paid for it.” No matter what your job is, if the job is your choice, if you enjoy the job and are more focused on the job than the pay, then your success in that job will come. Always prioritize your own good feelings. If you can do that, you will not have to run after success but success will be on your feet.
3) Be confident
The most important thing is to believe in you. In most cases, everyone is frustrated by the success of others and loses faith in them. Your life is the most important thing. Every moment from birth to today, whether you have someone else by your side or not, you are with yourself. So it is very important to believe in yourself.
4) Maintain a balance between everything
Most of us think that successful career is possible only through hard work and pursuit of goals. But in fact, if you just work hard like this, you will get tired for a while.
In addition to hard work, keeping your thinking power active, eating on time, giving priority to expressing your feelings, taking care of mental health and being physically healthy are all equally important to be successful.
Koi Fresco said – “Balance is the key to everything. What we do, think, say, eat, and feel, they all require awareness though this awareness we can grow.”
5) Learn to accept failure
Rabindranath Tagore said – “If you close all the doors to make mistakes, then the door to correct will also close.” It will be wrong; failure will come, so it is not that life will stop. Life will continue at the pace of life.
So you have to learn from every mistake and try to do better than the previous job. Edison said, “I did not fail, I learned hundreds of ways to invent this lightbulb.” He saw each ‘failure’ as a lesson.
6) Always maintain a positive mindset
People are most affected by their own thoughts, whether they are positive or negative. “Those who say impossible, impossible knock more on their door” – John Circle. So it is very important to think positively in all situations. The world’s best millennials, billionaire Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and Mark Zuckerberg are not the only ones who have faced obstacles in their lives.
But they never indulged in negative thoughts. Today they have been able to register their name at the top of success in the world because they have worked positively and gained successful career in all situations. So believe “I can and I will.”
7) Work hard
You may have heard the quote that 1% of success is motivation, 99% hard work or you may have heard about the idea of 10,000 hours. Either way you make a plan and act accordingly. Real success comes from work.
Shreesh Pandy said “Hard work never betrays.” If you work towards your goal in life, you will surely succeed. Eliza Carson says – ‘Always follow your dream and don’t let anyone take it from you’. The dream is yours so the responsibility of fulfilling the dream is also yours.
On the way to life, you will meet different types of people, do activities. But do not influence yourself by others. Don’t let the long cherished dream be shattered. The trouble is when the night falls at the end of the day, why did I let the day be wasted, if I wanted I could do something good in this day.
But when night falls, there is nothing left to do, we have to wait again for the next day. But once life reaches old age, there will be nothing to do with a thousand attempts. So give yourself importance to have time, decorate your dreams beautifully and make a successful career.
